I was thinking about my all too short foray into the world of modeling. I was thinking about how I almost got caught up in “It.” In what you ask? In the lifestyle that led to the destruction of many young lives. Women who were granted supreme access that bestowed upon them the ability of accomplishing great things. Oh not great things merely because they were pretty, hell I’m pretty. These women possessed something intangible in their beauty which belied the tragedy that would befall them. Each one of these models died tragically and unnecessarily , whether they succumbed to self-destructive behavior or were victimized by circumstances beyond their control, like model: Mariana Brindi whose striking beauty made her a Miss World finalist and a top model that died from septic shock [blood poisoning] that began as a simple urinary tract infection. Well Surprise Me Why Don’t Cha….US Supreme Court in historic rulings on marriage equality

I am not an Attorney, I just Play One In My Imagination. The US Supreme Court has struck down a law denying federal benefits to gay couples and cleared the way for same-sex marriage in California. The justices said that the Defense of Marriage Act, known as Doma, discriminated against same-sex couples. They declined to rule on California's prohibition of same-sex marriage, known as Proposition 8, leaving in place a lower court's strike-down of the ban. However I know attorneys and a little about the Fair Faith and Commerce provision in the Constitution. I had previously posted that marriage equality was an inevitability because if something is deemed legal in one state then thhe states that engage in commerce with that state MUST respect the laws of that state. For Five Looong Weeks….

I watched Mistresses in anticipation of the long await shower scene between Alex and Jocelyn. Granted I knew not to expect any interaction between the two women to be explicit, because the show is on network television. Well as you see for yourself the show did not disappoint by showing a same sex love scene that has gone farther than any other show on network television with gay or lesbian characters. Apologies for the unwanted pix i lation in the video and other anachronisms. Hey! Do you remember Caitlin and Alicia from Cashmere Mafia? Remember Darren Starr the cowardly creator of that show with his lies of what viewers could expect from the two as their romance progressed?
