Intentions….

Republican Richard Mourdock, candidate for Indiana's U.S. Senate seat, participates in a debate with Democrat Joe Donnelly and Libertarian Andrew Horning in a debate in New Albany, In., on Oct. 23, 2012. Mourdock said Tuesday when a woman is impregnated during a rape, "it's something God intended." He was asked during the final minutes of the debate whether abortion should be allowed in cases of rape or incest. (AP)
Well maybe if you believe that sort of thing. I am not much for organized religion , therefore I find it really difficult to fathom that there is some dude sitting in the sky with a penis of all things.
One day earlier, Mitt Romney, the leader of the Republican Party, appeared in a TV ad supporting Mourdock's campaign, making him the only candidate in the entire country for whom Romney cut an ad in the general election. The fact that he has chosen Mourdock as the best representative for the Republican Party tells you everything you need to know.
Romney is a Mormon, if you haven’t been living under a rock then you know how Mormon men view women.
So it’s no surprise that an individual as arrogant and sexist as  Governor Romney still won't back off his endorsement of Mourdock, let alone demand that Mourdock's campaign pull down the ad.
I have come to the decision that I have no respect for any member of the Republican Party. A person can be the nicest person on earth but if they vote Republican, well there’s just no logic to the path that the part has taken.
This adherence to a belief that their is a deity that has the exact same reproductive organs as virtually every mammal on earth is a stretch, but to force that belief on intelligent people is offensive.
Mr. Mourdock’s theological errors pale in comparison to the failure of compassion his comment exhibits. Murdouk’s comments are contributing to the hurt and the self-blaming of women and girls who have already been violated.
Women are already blaming themselves for something that is not their fault, but that society and religion teaches them is their fault.
