So why is Sessilee Lopez topless in the photo on the left and the white woman isn’t? She’s topless because:
1. She’s Getting Paid BIG Bucks
and
2. Historically women of color have always been sexualized in Media.
I’m no prude and I don’t expect anyone without advanced education to understand, so you’re just going to have to have faith that I am telling the truth because I am too tired from shopping to type out an historical analysis and describe its application to contemporary symbolism.
