The TRUTH About Hollywood: The Fight Isn’t OVER People!

Congress is still intent on passing the first American Internet censorship system.

This bill can still pass. If it does the Internet and free speech will never be the same.

Join all of us to stop this bill.

Harry Reid and Congress are intent on infringing the rights of Citizens to access the internet freely.
We are threatened with: ....More After The Jump

Website Blocking
The government can order service providers to block websites for infringing links posted by any users.
Risk of Jail for Ordinary Users
It becomes a felony with a potential 5 year sentence to stream a copyrighted work that would cost more than $2,500 to license, even if you are a totally noncommercial user, e.g. singing a pop song on Facebook.
Chaos for the Internet
Thousands of sites that are legal under the DMCA would face new legal threats. People trying to keep the internet more secure wouldn't be able to rely on the integrity of the DNS system.

This is NOT CHINA!  America is NOT IRAN!

The Facts: The truth is Hollywood is a CLOSED INDUSTRY. The average American isn’t losing a Hollywood job because Hollywood doesn’t hire.  It's HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS THAT OFTEN LEAK MOVIES ONTO THE INTERNET TO GENBERATE TALK AND INTEREST. IT'S THE EMPLOYEES OF HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS THAT LEAK MATERIAL ONTO THE WEB.
NONETHELESS HOLLYWOOD MOVIES EARN UPTO BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

TELEVISION PRODUCERS PAY ACTORS LIKE ASHTON KUCHER UP TO A MILLION DOLLARS PER EPISODE OF TWO ANS A HALF MEN

In fact if anything Hollywood is a thief! Stealing ideas from Legitimate writers on a regular basis, I know because my work was taken and appeared on a now cancelled Showtime Lesbian series.  Producers like Ilene Chaiken have even admitted to media such as "Go" magazine that she often peruses the internet to look at other's work.

We don’t need a bill  that impinges the rights of average Americans, while Hollywood Corporate fatcats get away with blatant thievery because Congress makes the industry immune to prosecution.

If this law passes, you'll wake up to find sites you love blocked by the US government. Tell Congress to vote "no" on SOPA.
