Episode 4 of Hit&Miss is a game-changing episode that leaves Mia facing more than her fair share of family woes.

Like WOW, are you watching Hit&Miss? If so can you handle the reality that Mia’s life is now as complicated as the answer to Riley’s question: ‘If evolution does exist, how come women only have two hands?’

Before Mia’s ‘career’ as a hit man crossed the boundary into her new domestic setting. Riley blurts out she’s pregnant and Mia's excited at the opportunity to bring up a child she could never bear herself (and relive the early childhood she missed with her son Ryan.)

Meanwhile her relationship with Ben is hitting stormy seas as Ben is finding it increasingly difficult to come to terms with who Mia is; ‘Maybe there’s still some man inside of you.’ he tells Mia after witnessing her cold reaction to a beating. (Have you not been watching Ben? This clearly was a script writing anachronism.

Mia's once safe haven now has more watchful eyes spying than ever – with Eddie doing his dodgy dealings; John continually watching and waiting to exact revenge and the brother of Mia's former oartner [who was Ryan's mum].

I liked the set-up of Mia trying to adjust to the family.

In Mia’s world a meet at a Chinese restaurant is a cover; even a fish and chip dinner is code for: ‘Considerable risk as I have a hit to do.’

Then there is the presence of vile land-owner John - whose eager to dispose of the one person who can match and beat his authority [Mia], and who now stands in his way of his power to force Riley to terminate the pregnancy [John you ARE the father].

Vincent Reagan has done a brilliant job of portraying such a heinous character. Now the evil baddie has gone, Riley’s future and that of her baby. now hangs in Mia’s hands to clean up the evidence.

Mia’s retirement from a world of violence and brutality slips further away each week. Eddie of course has no intention of letting Mia leave his lucrative business – with a murder scene now in the house he put his name to, his leverage over Mia has increased tenfold. However it was a brave move to dispose of John in episode 4, nut will it bite them in the end?

Also, is Riley No MORE? She was having a devil of a time keeping quiet and well if you watch, then you heard what she blurted when the police came by to inquire about the missing "John," then later in the bathroom Riley looks pensive and after some cut-a-ways of the other children playing and Mia having sex with Ben we see a clip of Riley, but did she commit suicide?

Mia's son Ryan and John's son and cute little Leoni are walking along the river bank when thy come across a partially opened package that has washed ashore. John's son pokes it witha stick and we see some flesh with a bullet hole in it. The kids run away screaming.

Only two episodes left of this fabulous High-Concept drama.

Have you been watching Hit and Miss? I want You and I be clear on this: I simply cannot stand this 6 episode season thing!

What is it people? Get it together and give us 13 episodes per season like you are supposed to.

I am not up for waiting a year for season 2 are you serious? At least Femme Fatales gives us 13 episodes, even though as an American series it’s not that good.
