Seems like more of a media created phenomenon. Maybe that's the reason that Obama intentionally lost the first debate, to give Mitt a fighting chance. I am a conspiracy theorist. I don't know what Barack was thinking or what he was told to do in the first debate, but i bet he didn't think Hurricane Sandy would also play a role.
It just doesn't make sense. One day Mitt Romney is so pitiful that he has to instruct attendees at his rally to chant "Romney/Ryan" instead of their chorus of "Ryan, Ryan, Ryan..." and then virtually not a week later Barack Obama purposefully stays silent for the majority of the first debate, suddenly the two are tied in the polls?
For the most part we were never told the specific names of these polls that supposedly have the two candidates in a dead heat.
Second, polls are unreliable. It's that simple. Now RT News is reporting that all the early votes cast in areas affected by hurricane Sandy have been lost. How do they know this?
I voted early sure we lost power but I don't think my vote disappeared. After all my vote doesn't stay in the voting booth after it was made, but even if it did. I doubt that loss of power would erase the votes as city municipalities were closed on that Monday.
Also someone need to tell politicians to stop saying that your children will be left with a debt.
